ÓÅÃÛÊÓƵ

September 1 was a beautiful, sunny day for the Nelson Pride Parade that started from the ÓÅÃÛÊÓƵ district office and Wildflower Nelson School parking lot, and wended its way along Stanley Street to Victoria Street and through downtown Nelson. 

ÓÅÃÛÊÓƵ staff, students, families and education partners joined Nelson Pride organizers, West Kootenay community members and a wide array of organizations to celebrate the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and a caring, inclusive learning culture in our schools. 

It was a wonderful event full of vibrant costumes, clothing, lively music and happy faces. A great time was had by all!
